Short Term Missions Account Manager and Summer Staff Coordinator, Dallas, TX 134 views

Under the leadership of the Director of Short Term Missions, the Short Term Missions Account Manager and Summer Staff Coordinator is the primary point of contact between Family Legacy and assigned Camp Life participants to coordinate their travel to Zambia. The Short Term Missions Account Manager/Summer Staff Coordinator will also recruit, select and lead college volunteers and provide administrative support to the Director of Short Term Missions. The Short Term Missions Account Manager/Summer Staff Coordinator will be at Camp Life in Zambia for 4-7 weeks during June and July annually. We are looking for a detail oriented, great team player, who is spiritually fit to lead college students in a discipleship program and who is passionate about Family Legacy’s mission.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Represent Family Legacy in a positive, pleasant manner by always providing excellent customer service. Serve as a role model and adhere to the Ministry’s Standards of Behaviors. Respond to requests and concerns in a friendly, fair, and impartial manner. Support the Ministry’s mission, vision, and values
  • Assist the development team in recruiting trip participants
  • Recruit, interview, select, and train 30-40 college student volunteers for Camp Life
  • Lead 30-40 college student volunteers at Camp Life onsite in Zambia during June and July annually. International travel is required; Must be willing to travel (for 4-7 consecutive weeks) in Zambia for June and July annually
  • Develop and maintain relationships with trip participants by providing information, tips and encouragement to them
  • Manage the distribution, collection, and completion of all essential trip paperwork and fees
  • Coordinate the promotional and marketing items for mission trips
  • Work with travel agents to make travel arrangements and lodging for trip participants
  • Manage ministry supplies for Camp Life and assist accounting with receipts and Short Term Missions budget
  • Ensure staff and Camp Life participants are prepared with all necessary items
  • Coordinate sponsorship trip visits
  • Assist sponsorship team with sponsorship acquisition following the Camp Life program
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree

We pay 100% of our base plan medical premium.

Hybrid work schedule, in the Dallas office 8:30am – 5pm Monday-Wednesday, and WFH/remote on Thursdays and Fridays, except during June and July when onsite in Zambia for Camp Life. Camp Life schedule may require extended work hours some days.
