We’re looking to hire a Project Manager / Junior Designer to join the Our House Your Home (OHYH) team! We are a husband-wife design + build team who offer custom renovation and full service interior design services. I (Hannah) am the interior designer and my husband Ryan is the general contractor. Our family business (three kids in tow!) are all about people and making home our client’s favorite place to be.
As our new team member, you would be detail oriented and know how to communicate with people well. We are looking for someone who has an eye for design and project management skills to match. Our Project Manager / Junior Designer would assist in creating, managing, and implementing necessary steps for client projects as we – source products and materials, communicate with vendors and contractors, problem-solve, and organize project installations. You would also manage administrative support for our business including reception, paperwork, and filing.
We are looking for someone who doesn’t just know how to help with our business (although you definitely get to do that!), but also manage our personal life with any required errands, organizing, etc.
Our project manager would assist in projects from start to finish under the direction of Our House Your Home’s co-founder and Creative Director, Hannah Schwanbeck. We aspire to have a collaborative environment and extreme attention to detail and being open to direction is a must. We would love to have someone who is up to date with the latest finishes and furnishing as well as what is trending in the industry.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a young, talented individual who can get a job done with excellence but also has an eye for design and detail
- Can manage our social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, website blog content creation & scheduling (Squarespace) etc.
- Has a solid understanding of Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator. AutoCAD skills would be a bonus!
- Implementing and maintaining administrative systems including filing, expense reports, etc.
- Manage our schedule. Be the first point of contact, make / oversee appointments, follow-up as necessary.
- Attention to detail
