We’re Ryan and Hannah Schwanbeck, a husband-wife team who design, build, and believe in the power of great design to help make home your favorite place to be.

We understand that designing and remodeling a home is an exciting time but can also be taxing – especially when you consider the all of the design, lifestyle and financial decisions that come with the process. Creating a home that’s tailored to your family, beautiful in all the right ways, while still functional for the life you lead is part art and part experience. We offer our clients both and so much more.

We know how important it is to have a clear vision for your project before you start. And how easy it is to fall into decision-paralysis when there are so many design considerations. And how important it is to work with builders you fully trust. Many projects, lessons, clients, and a home renovation later, we’ve honed a point of view and process that are the foundation of our work.

Ryan grew up in East Texas surrounded by beautiful lakes, trees, and rolling pastures. Hannah grew up in small-town Texas where tradition and formality are celebrated values. When we combined our histories and styles, what emerged was a handful of design principles that we live by. Never limited to a genre, these are the common threads woven into each Our House Your Home project—whether that’s a dated cookie cutter, a mid-mod ranch, or a modern cabin.

It is our prayer that by partnering together, your home becomes the place you never get enough of.

About Gateway Church

We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Gateway grow in their relationship with the Lord.

It begins with our vision to see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered, and serving. Everything we do revolves around those seven things. And it all starts with our weekend services. We meet in six locations across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and you can even join us online if you aren’t in the area.
