JOB BRIEF:
OHYH is expanding and looking for a Construction Foreman to help oversee the progress of residential projects. We are looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee tradesmen at multiple construction sites. As the point of contact of both trades and the OHYH team, you will be a key person for the completion of each project.
This is a full-time, salaried position.
OHYH IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize

Excellent communication and ability to report effectively

Great people skills

Understanding of residential construction

Problem-solving abilities and great attention to detail

Moderate Carpentry Skills

Aptitude in math
-
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints

Good physical condition and stamina

A self-starter and driven
-
High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)

Experience as Construction Foreman or Superintendent with Contractor management skills would be an additional benefit but not required
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:

Supervise tradesmen and oversee progress of timeline

Ensure proper materials are onsite for daily work

Daily inspect work completed by trades, ensuring they align with Design Plans and quality standards

Report job progress to OHYH team

Be solution oriented and resolve problems when they arise

Coordinate tasks according to priorities, timeline, and budget

Maintain a clean and safe work environment on each job site

Allocate general and daily responsibilities

Run errands and deliver supplies
-
Assist in construction tasks as necessary

Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget

Assist with Change Orders throughout project
