Job Description
The Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager oversees the development and management of recruitment and retention strategies for the organization. The role works closely with the HR team to identify and implement strategies to ensure Seed Company remains a preferred employer in the faith-based field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Partners with the HR leadership team to develop systems, build operational and consistent processes and tools that support recruiting efforts and strengthen onboarding practices.
• Collaborate with the corporate communications team to establish marketing, social media, and other efforts to increase brand awareness among talent pipelines and local resources.
• Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Manage all stages of the candidate experience including job postings, application, interviews, pre-employment checks, offer, and communication.
• Elevate the talent acquisition process to an exceptional experience for candidates, hiring managers, and HR business partners.
• Lead the talent acquisition team in the identification of selection criteria, development of questions and tests, and screening of candidates for right skills and job fit.
• Build, foster, and manage external relationships with educational institutions, ministry partners, and professional associations to build talent pipelines for current and future job openings and develop a network of potential future hires.
• Represent Seed Company at career fairs, conferences, and community events.
• Train supervisors on compliant interviewing practices.
• Develops, analyzes, and reports key metrics used to drive success in the acquisition and retention of talent.
• Develop and manage a robust recognition program and work closely with the HR team on special events and projects related to staff recognition, retention, and culture development.
• Support the organization with the compliant engagement of contractors.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent acquisition and retention.
• Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues, records, and company information.
• Interview, select, recommend hire, train, and assign subordinate staff. Provide direction and mentoring, develop and communicate performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of staff, both as a department and individually. Evaluate performance and provide cross-training and coaching to staff;
