Job Description
What we do at East-West is simple: reach the unreached. There is a country on the western coast of Africa where over 10 million people are waiting to hear the gospel. Since 2007, our team has been working in this region to spread the gospel and equip national believers. We have two opportunities to join our work in west Africa: serve overseas as a Church Planting Catalyst, or provide organizational support from a stateside location. If you have a heart for Africa, we want to hear from you!
Ideal candidate for the west Africa team
- Passion for reaching Muslims and unreached people groups with the gospel
- Desire to learn and be challenged
- Compassion for the people and a desire to meet them where they are, both physically and spiritually
- Willingness to embrace a simpler and slower paced life
- Desire to support the field through training, mobilization, and administration (stateside)
Quick facts about the field
- We focus on an urban area with close to 300,000 people
- The nationals speak both French and Pular, the local language
- We leverage creative strategies such as medical treatment, leadership development, and ESL courses
- Ultimately, we use evangelism and discipleship to spark a multiplying movement of disciples and house churches
