SCOPE: The Project Manager is responsible for interpreting, planning, and executing on internal stakeholder requests ensuring on-target, on-time, on-budget, and on-brand delivery of project objectives.  The Project Manager must exhibit outstanding project management and stakeholder communication skills in achieving the highest possible standards in stakeholder service while building consensus and relational capital across diverse teams while supporting the organization’s vision and mission.  In addition, the Project Manager must have excellent attention to detail and keep projects moving throughout the creative and development processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•    Develops and maintains solid stakeholder relationships; encourages a collaborative approach with departmental team members.

•    Collaborates with VP’s, Directors and Team Leads to develop creative briefs to define project deliverables, resource needs, projected costs and forecasted delivery dates.

•    Manages expectations with stakeholders and departmental teams. Negotiates timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure achievable deadlines are maintained.

•    Actively participates and leads collaboration efforts on creative development and direction with stakeholder, design, development, and support teams.

•    Troubleshoots project and team roadblocks with timing, deliverables and maintains communication for all parties informed.

•    Facilitates project meetings, maintains project documentation, oversees tracking and reporting of project team deliverables.

•    Coordinate efforts of Seed Company staff towards successful project completion; reducing time to deliver while ensuring high quality results.

•    Provides reporting on project resource commitment for strategic planning of cross-functional needs.

•    Work with stakeholders and team members to ensure deliverables are aligned with overall domain and corporate strategies and goals; ensuring the right things are communicated to the right people at the right time

•    Communicates project outcomes/accomplishments to supervisor.

•    Provides feedback to project team during internal creative and development reviews.

•    Coordinates with SMEs, teammates, and Global Brand teams to present concepts to stakeholders, obtain feedback and translate that feedback for the project team.

•    Represents the interests of the stakeholder in interactions with project team(s).

•    Reviews stakeholder change requests and responds with schedule/cost impacts along with alternatives

•    Develops and recommends solutions, as needed, for continued improvement of team and process efficiencies.

•    Notifies project team, stakeholder and supervisor of impending project risks or delays in a timely manner to allow for adjustments and contingency planning.

•    Deepens project management knowledge and skills by participating in appropriate training courses.

•    Demonstrates flexibility between project management methodologies for the purpose of adapting to the needs of the organizational environment and project specifications.

•    Understands and applies Agile Methodology concepts to creative and technology-based projects.

OTHER DUTIES:

•    Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies.

•    Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact.

•    Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

None.

TRAVEL:

Not anticipated, if necessary no more than one week of domestic travel.

Job Requirement

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Strong faith in Jesus Christ as Savior; God honoring lifestyle;

•    Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group;

•    Championing the Seed Company’s vision, mission, and values;

•    Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

•    Three to five years of project management experience including print, website development, product development and video.

•    Experience leading cross-functional teams, both through idea generation through to implementation.

•    Strong written and oral communication skills.

•    Solid understanding of marketing and software development.

•    Experience in various work management / project management systems
