Job Description
The Intranet Manager will perform duties ensuring successful day-to-day operation, management, design, development, implementation, integration, delivery, and support of internal web sites. The Intranet Manager will be responsible for maintaining the visual design, site navigation, and site content. This role will also be responsible for coordinating stakeholders engaging and training staff, and monitoring all aspects of the intranet site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain sound information architecture and site navigation
• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, implement and maintains components of the intranet site.
• Manage the homepage maintaining the proper balance of content and tools
• Lead projects to improve sites on the intranet and deliver new tools to the intranet
• Monitor site analytics and report on key performance indicators
• Ensure coordination between IT, HR, Corporate Communications, and all other teams
• Coordinate efforts of central content owners and support intranet group owners in maintaining active groups
• Monitor user-generated content for appropriateness
• Assists in project planning; provides reports and updates as required.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders on the progress of proposed design and work of sites and/or pages.
• Serve as a liaison between internal leadership teams and external vendors/partners.
• Work with stakeholders to assess their needs and together plan and problem solve
• Investigates, evaluates and implements new technologies to build more effective communication.
• Establishes and maintains security protection controls and protocols.
• Provides appropriate level of instructions, training, and documentation on the intranet sites.
• Maintains high level of knowledge and skill with all software and tools related to the design and production of intranet sites/pages.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
