Job Description

The Home Health Sales Representative acts as a liaison between Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs. Responsibilities include development and promotion of home health programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care. Working with management to prepare marketing plans that build volume for home care services in a way that supports the philosophy and enhances the image of the agency. Maintains contact with representatives from other organizations to exchange and update information on resources and services available while managing education budgets.

    Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualification

Job Requirements

  1. Must have current DL and auto insurance
  2. Must be detail-oriented and have effective communication skills
  3. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  4. Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  5. Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  6. Home Health Sales experience
  7. Must be comfortable with making cold calls
  8. Responsible for generating referrals by establishing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and other service providers
  9. Establishes and maintains relationships with referral sources, including hospital case managers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, hospices, and physicians’ offices
  10. Promotes home health programs and services to generate referrals from a variety of sources
  11. Assist with special events, health fairs or public relations as needed
  12. Tracks and reports monthly contacts with referral sources
