A. Larry Ross Communications (ALRC), one of the country’s leading communications agencies in the area of Christian public relations for faith-based organizations, is seeking a professional, administrative assistant to support the Founder & CEO of the company for a flexible position that can range from 30 to 40 hours per week.

ALRC is a recognized, national firm specializing in providing communications services into and out of the faith based community. We are seeking an intelligent individual who can make a significant contribution supporting and assisting a busy, creative executive. The successful candidate should be a passionate individual who possesses a high degree of integrity, confidence and discretion and who thrives in a fast paced environment.

This executive is nationally known as a person of influence and authoritative consultant to the media. We are seeking an individual who has successful experience in also assisting a busy, creative office. Must be adept and experienced at researching and analyzing information using online resources and databases to accumulate and disseminate accurate information and data.

Meeting and managing ongoing deadlines are critical for this position. The ideal candidate must possess a proactive personality and strong time management skills in order to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Must thoroughly enjoy interfacing with staff, clients and vendors on a regular basis.   Responsibilities include all administrative support for the CEO and ongoing preparation of documents for the creative team.

The successful candidate’s background and skills should include:

  • Administrative experience supporting a high level, creative executive
  • Outstanding skills and expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint  and various office management tools
  • Excellent knowledge, skills and experience with accessing and reporting on data via the Internet or approved databases
  • Proficient at conducting investigative research, producing accurate reports, explaining data and effectively communicating results
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Outstanding proofing and editing skills
  • Awareness and experience on multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Background creating project materials, online graphics and document formatting
  • Stable employment history

Should also possess the following characteristics:

  • Well-organized, professional style and presentation
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to meet and manage ongoing deadlines
  • Proactive and creative personality
  • Flexibility to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities
  • Ability to deal with all levels of people on an everyday basis and build strong relationships
  • Effectively interface with staff, clients and vendors
