Development and Communications Coordinator
Full-time Position

Unite Life is a fast-growing 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is focused on giving every person an opportunity to connect to a healthy Christian community. Our technology platform allows trusted partners to reach seekers online in both open and closed countries, giving new believers the ability to connect to a church on the ground in their region of the world. The organization is experiencing tremendous growth and is seeking a Development and Communications Coordinator who is a team player, detail-oriented, and willing to take on a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the department. The Development and Communications Coordinator will be the driving force to keep the team’s development and marketing projects on point and on track.
This position will work with and report to the Executive Director and collaborates closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Executive Admin around data management, reporting, events, communications, resource and ministry partner goals. This is a full-time position.

ABOUT YOU:
Not everyone has what it takes to be a Development and Communications Coordinator. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
SCOPE
Office Administration
- Creating processes and procedures to maximize department efficiencies.
- Coordinating tasks and special projects in a project management tool for the team.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of CRM database (TBD), including reporting.
- Collaborating with the Director of Operations for financial reconciliation and other tasks.
- Entering donations in CRM, creating, and sending gift acknowledgements.
- Creating and sending year-end tax statements.
- Organizing development office administrative tasks including receipts, office records, budgets, event reports, and other duties as assigned.
- Assisting the Executive Director in preparation and follow-up of resource and ministry partner meetings.
- Staff point person for events support and logistics.
GRANT PROCESS
- Create a grant template to research, track, write, proof, assemble, and send grant proposals for foundations’ consideration for project funding.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Researching and writing testimonies and stories from clients and ministry partners to use for development efforts.
- Work directly with the Executive Director and Creative Team to develop, execute, and manage monthly communication plans for all audiences. Social media, email, direct mail. (Design experience preferred.)
- Create email campaigns and donor messaging in the CRM.
- Assist in the creation and updating of collateral pieces used for marketing and development purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong focus on attention to detail.
- Proficient in Google Suite with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- CRM and donor database experience and proficiency including reporting.
- Energized by thoroughness in work and maintaining detailed records.
- Excellence in executing an assigned task with thorough follow-through.
- Strong research, writing, and editing skills.

- Self-starter who takes initiative.
REQUIREMENTS
- A passion for Jesus and fulfilling the Great Commission.
- A committed Christian regularly attending a Christian congregation with a compatible theology to Unite Life.
- A four-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred two years of work experience in a professional environment (Development/Fundraising preferred).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all circumstances utilizing ironclad discretion.
- Demonstrated effective collaboration in the workplace.
- Evidence of a self-motivating work ethic.
