POSITION TITLE: FINE ARTS TEACHER, PERFORMANCE GROUPS
Reports to: Principal of the School of the Arts
Duty Days: 180
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000

Job Requirements
- Be an active member of a local church congregation.
- Agree with and sign the Statement of Faith and Beliefs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Education, Educational Leadership, or other relevant subject
- Texas Teaching Certificate
- 2+ Years Teaching or other Similar Experience (Performance)
- Professional Performance Experience
Preferences:
- Master’s Degree in Music, Education, Educational Leadership, or other relevant subject
- 3+ Years of Experience as a Fine Arts Director, Music Director, or other similar leadership experience.
- Extensive Performance Experience
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of music theory, music instructional practices, and musical performance.
- Perfect pitch, or a ‘good ear’ that can hear pitch variations and tuning.
- Understanding of how to promote and support a positive, faith-based climate and environment for teaching and learning.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentational skills.
