A Day in the Life of an OCC Human Resources Seasonal Team Member
Serve with Samaritan’s Purse as an Operation Christmas Child Seasonal Human Resources Associate and you will work with thousands of employees and volunteers to help bring Jesus’ love to children around the world. When you work on our Seasonal Human Resources team, you help to source, recruit, hire and manage temporary employees to facilitate the processing and preparation of Shoeboxes for distribution to children in need. You are acting as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to bring joy to children, families, and communities. You, or someone you know, may be an ideal candidate to serve in a Seasonal Human Resources role in one of our Processing Centers. These associates will work in a team environment and will be responsible for working as part of full life-cycle recruiting – sourcing, screening, qualifying and closing positions while maintaining a pipeline of ready-to-hire candidates throughout the project. This seasonal role will run from August to December.
Positions are temporary, full-time (40+ hours per week including Saturdays at times). Screening requirements include social media review and pastoral/spiritual mentor screen.

Day to Day Responsibilities-
- Makes daily pre-screening calls to applicants to pre-qualify for interviews.
- Conducts interviews, determines qualifications of candidates.
- In-depth sourcing, screening, interviewing and assessment of applicants.
- Work as directed to complete reporting and assigned special projects.
- Manage attendance and pipeline of candidates and associates during processing season.
