Job Description

Your job duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Greeting and assisting customers with the trying-on / purchasing of clothing and shoes, operate a cash wrap, answering the phone, taking special orders for merchandise, tagging and hanging merchandise on the sales floor, general cleaning of store, open and close a cash drawer.  Part-time/full-time positions available.

Job Requirements

Must be able to legally work in the United States. Must have successfully completed a minimum of a High School education. (If you are still in High School and interested, please contact us for more information) Must be proficient in simple math, English reading, writing and speaking skills. Must be able to stand/walk in one place for 6.5 out of an 8-hour work shift. Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds and hang garments above shoulder level. Must be able to be in contact with clothing and shoes that contain latex, clothing dyes and dust. Must be able to perform basic operations on a computer and be able to read a computer monitor. Must be able to differentiate between colors. Must be able to handle currency. Must be able to speak clearly and distinctly using proper grammar. Must have excellent customer service skills, relating to customer satisfaction, conflict avoidance/resolution. Must be willing to provide a “one-on-one” shopping experience to customers, helping them make buying decisions. Must be able to pass a background check in areas related to job function and exposure. Must be available to work during retail store hours (24-30 hrs. per week, afternoons, evenings and weekends). Must have reliable transportation and childcare. Appearance must comply with a professional dress code policy. May be occasionally required to work outdoors or at our other metro-plex locations.

We provide group discounts and can special order almost any item or brand needed.  We are based in the DFW metroplex and have been in business for over 20 years.  We also have a companion store (Wallywaldo Workwear) that provides industrial clothing/uniforms for organizations.
