Job Description

SCOPE: Responsible for advancing Seed Company’s mission by assisting the Investor Experience team in support of executive level fundraising in various functions and tasks.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 80% of your time will serve the Director, Investor Experience for the President’s Office, while the remaining 20% will serve the Vice President and Director of Investor Experience.
  • Coordinate with the President’s executive coordinator. Arrange complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, agendas, and compile documents for meetings.
  • Prepare presentations, supporting documents, research, and other materials.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously and proactively; follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures; work closely and effectively with the Director to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up as appropriate.
  • Integrate and synthesize complex data from various sources, communicating the results and providing critical insights.
  • Maintain and keep track of an understanding of the President’s caseload, investor relationships, and projects.  Assist with moves management as needed.
  • Maintain investor account data in Salesforce as appropriate; Collaborate with finance domain to assign designations.
  • Ensure all research and project support requests are relayed and managed with the appropriate Investor Services team member.
  • Assist the Vice President with Seed Company’s Leadership Council.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies.
  • Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact.
  • Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. Seed Company operates using a hybrid work model, Mondays and Thursdays are work from the corporate office days.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand and walk.

TRAVEL:

Travel is required less than 5% annually.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Strong faith in Jesus Christ as Savior; God honoring lifestyle.
    • Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group.
    • Championing Seed Company’s vision, mission, and values.
    • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field; or relevant work experience.
    • Requires up to one to three years of experience in general administration.
    • Advanced user of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
    • Strong written communication skills are essential.
    • Demonstrated experience performing research independently and able to communicate findings verbally or in written format.
    • Experience with customer database software (Salesforce, Sage, Raiser’s Edge) is strongly preferred.
