Job Description
The Instructional Designer is an integral role on the eLearning Team which helps build staff and partner competency through on-line training. This role cultivates the skills and tools to build effective training content and coaches our subject matter experts so that they can become proficient in developing their own content.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop online learning experiences for Field Operations, Bible Translation and Growth Partners teams. Serve other parts of the organization with eLearning solutions as needs arise.
- Provide instructional design support to Seed Company Field staff and contractors to achieve team objectives.
- Assist subject matter experts (SMEs) in the development of course materials for online training.
- Provide domain thought leadership for effective online adult learning activities such as:
- curriculum development (micro-learning content, learning paths, certification of competency)
- leveraging and enabling subject matter experts (SMEs)
- learning reinforcement techniques
- content management
- visual, audio and interactive learning tools
- online cohorts
- Participate in broader community of eLearning professionals.
