Job Description
Join our fast-paced, dynamic team and play a key role in the continued development of the accounting and finance organization at Patriot Mobile. This is an in-person hands-on entry level accounting role which reports directly to the Controller.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide accounting resolutions to escalated customer service issues by researching transactions and processing refunds, reversals and corrections.
- Manage the Customer Buy Out (CBO) process including determining eligibility, processing, follow up and recording the resulting transaction on our customer’s account.
- Perform account reconciliations of customers’ accounts.
- Investigate bank chargebacks and customer accounts, making payment reversals if necessary.
- Process credit card failures in the account receivable collections process.
- Manage the RMA process along with our third-party Partner.
- Open mail and maintain permanent compliance files.
- Assist with annual audit and other required filings as needed.
- Support the department with special projects and workflow process improvements
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and able handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient with QuickBooks Enterprise, MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Ability to interface professionally with all levels of management and staff
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in either accounting, business administration, finance or related field.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of spaces to include cubicle, counter, and or desk areas.
- Must be able to move boxes or other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
