Job Description:
Artza is a fast-growing subscription box company that delivers a taste of the Holy Land to Christians across America. Every three months, Artza travels to a different city in Israel and partners with the best local artisans in that city to deliver an amazing box filled with food, gifts and content to thousands of subscribers across the U.S.. The goal of the company is to help Christians across America connect to the Holy Land and its people in new and fun ways while supporting small businesses in Israel.
For the holiday season, Artza is opening its first pop-up at the Stonebriar Centre mall in Frisco, Texas! Christmas is our busiest time of year, and we know that the Artza box makes an amazing, fun, and unique Christmas gift that we think will sell very well at this location!
To help us make it a success, we are seeking responsible, ambitious, friendly and motivated sales associate to help us staff the pop-up booth and sell Artza boxes as an amazing Christmas gift!
We will pay a competitive hourly salary ($13 per hour), with the chance to make as much as 4x or more the hourly wage in sales commissions based on the number of boxes sold. This is a fun way to make extra cash before the holidays while supporting amazing small businesses!
Responsibilities
- Interacting with mall goers to educate them about Artza and sell them holiday gift boxes
- Delivering sales, outstanding customer experience, and other operational needs (check out, etc.)
- Ability to learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs
- Actively seek customers out as they pass by
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge
- Experience as a retail sales associate a plus but not necessary
Compensation Structure:
- Base pay: $13 per hour
- Commission structure:
- 10% of sales
- Illustrative commissions (assuming $80 average order value):
- Sell 1 box per hour: $8 extra compensation, $21 / hour total compensation
- Sell 3 boxes per hour: $24 extra compensation, $37 / hour total compensation
- Sell 5 boxes per hour: $40 extra compensation, $53 / hour total compensation
Other:
- Pop up will run from October 15 through Christmas
- Looking for a minimum commitment of 15 hours a week
