Job Description
The Group Insurance Service Representative is responsible for the front and back-end processes of group insurance sold by an in-house, or referring agent. This position requires a strong focus on customer service as well as meeting deadlines. The Group Insurance Service Representative is forward thinking and can organize and prioritize their day based on current, as well as future, group renewals to keep tasks on track and meet incremental deadlines.
Duties:
- Initiate census requests for new and renewal group clients
- Coordinate with agents in choosing plans to offer group clients
- Request quotes from medical and ancillary carriers based on client needs
- Prepare open enrollments in EASE
- Assist with on-site enrollments
- Track enrollment activities in AgencyBloc as well as in a shared spreadsheet
- Process employee adds and terms adhering to COBRA and State Continuation policies
- Respond to group administrator, or employee questions via phone or email
- Adhere to regulatory, audit and operating policies and procedures
- Promote positive client relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service
- Performs other duties as needed
Job Requirements

- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Some college or insurance experience
- Health & Life Insurance license preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- PT in-person 25 hours a week
