Job Description
The Range Assistant may be the first person our guests interact with when arriving to the driving range. It is important that they deliver a superior golf experience to all of our guests. Range Assistants assist the Director of Golf and other Range Assistants in all duties related to the driving range. They do so while being friendly, positive, and accommodating. They will also keep the area clean, safe, and well maintained.

Job Requirements
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assists the Director of Golf and other Range Assistants in driving range related duties such as picking and cleaning the range and tee box, handling retail transactions including, but not limited to range balls, merchandise, apparel and lessons, trash removal, waste and facility sanitation
2. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from clients, guests and members.
3. Routinely operates, motor vehicles and other various mechanized equipment
4. Carries out routine cleaning duties that meet established quality standards for all driving range related operations; insures the recognized standards are maintained and that quality, and delivery commitments are met
5. Maintains a friendly, professional working relationship with co-workers, members, guests and vendors.
6. Cleans restrooms, walkways, equipment and all other areas of the driving range
7. Demonstrates safe work habits at all times, including the proper care and use of all tools, equipment, vehicles, hazardous materials, and observes all established health and safety regulations.
8. Provides safe disposal of all waste material.
9. All other duties as assigned by management
OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for use of judgment; and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be both a team player and self-starter.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
2. Ability to organize and prioritize work
3. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department and corporate goals
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
5. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
6. Some knowledge of driving range operations or willingness to be trained in them
7. Effective communicator who can collaborate with teammates and guests
8. Ability to organize and prioritize work
9. Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season;
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
10. Must be able to lift, carry, push & pull up to 25 lbs with assistance
11. Must be able to swim or willing to wear a personal flotation device
12. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
13. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
14. Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
15. Must be able to climb stairs, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
