Embrace Grace is a fast-growing 501c3 non-profit organization that equips and inspires churches all over the nation to love on single and pregnant young women and their families. The focus of our trail-blazing organization is to inspire moms to be brave and choose life.  The impact of our organization is that we save lives – 2 at a time. 

We are searching for a highly organized individual as an Executive Assistant to support the President of Embrace Grace and supporting team.

 

ABOUT THE PERKS: 

FLEXIBILITY: Feel free to pick up your kids from school or take the end of your afternoon off and then pick up your remaining hours on your own time and schedule from the comfort of your own home! Our hours in office are 8:30-3:30 and the rest is on your own

DRESS: Wear mostly anything you like to the office – we have a comfortable and casual dress code

ATMOSPHERE: We have the raddest office atmosphere that feels like home – but way better. Our offices are located in Hurst, TX

ABOUT YOU: 

Not everyone has what it takes to be an Executive Assistant. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to: 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 

    • Experience Preferred as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
    • Dogged Resourcefulness – Know how to be resourceful to pull off requests that will ultimately change the world. Know how to research and find resources that will help accomplish a task. 
    • Calm Under Pressure – Not every day will be crazy but sometimes they are. It’s critical that you can function under high-pressure situations and that won’t throw you off your game. 
    • Tech KnowledgeIn addition to the usual professional tools like Microsoft Office or Google’s G-suite, a working knowledge of Calendly, basic Salesforce, and Asana or other project management system is a bonus. 
    • Big Picture Thinking – Ability to have a solid understanding of Embrace Grace so that you can have a larger context of the company’s goals to help assist the President in knowing what to say yes and what to say no to. 
    • Ruthless Prioritization – Know how to help limit the President’s distractions and focus only on the most pressing issues and highest leverage activities. 
    • Ironclad DiscretionTransparency is a virtue in business, but even the most open organizations deal with privileged information that must be handled delicately. Discretion is highly valued in assisting the President. 
    • Impeccable Organization – This position is a fast-paced and constantly changing one, so you can’t afford to waste precious seconds being unorganized. 
    • Strategic Multitasking – Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities with proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
    • Supernatural Anticipation – To really thrive in the role, you have to be able to see ten moves ahead, and anticipate issues before they become full blown problems.
    • Emotional Intelligence – In this role you will be working with many people and emotional intelligence and people skills are a must and a huge part of that is reading people’s emotional cues and body language.
    • Expert Level Communication with Authenticity – This position will be communicating with many people both internal and external of the organization and even drafting internal emails on behalf of the President. Top-Notch writing skills are a huge asset and necessary as well as being able to take notes at 60 words typed per minute. 
    • Speed and Decisiveness –  It’s important to be able to sum up the situation, gather the necessary info, ask the right questions, and then most importantly, acts.
    • Thick Skin and A Sense of Humor – The ability to roll with the punches, reset after a tough day, and keep things in perspective are all essential in this position. 
    • Networking – If you have support, advice from others and extra connections will help set you up with success in this position. 
    • Negotiating and/or Asking Skills – Being able to negotiate with finesse or to ask for donations for a particular event are great attributes. In this position, you can’t be afraid to ask! 
    • Analytics Skills – Having strong analytical skills will allow you to keep up with possible shifting of expectations that will help in handling tricky social scenarios utilizing critical thinking. 
    • BONUS: Skillset with social media and managing President’s social media pages both with posting and responding.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

You will manage mostly business related tasks for the President such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodation, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks. The main responsibilities of the Executive Assistant are:  

  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for the President, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, donor management, and other company logistics
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to board and management team.
  • Manage, coordinate, President’s travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination
  • Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, document creation, and maintenance of contact database.
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion.
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite

Embrace Grace, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed for the purpose of providing emotional, practical and spiritual support for single, young women and their families who find themselves in an unintended pregnancy. The primary goal of Embrace Grace is to empower churches across the nation to be a safe and non-judging place for the girls to run to when they find out they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt.

We provide curriculum and resources for the church to implement our programs and become a Pro-Love church. If the church, the Body of Christ, will join together to support these girls who choose life, young moms will be more open to not aborting their babies. Whether they keep their baby or choose adoption, Embrace Grace is a support system for them as they begin their journey of being a young mother or blessing another family with their baby. Emotionally and spiritually healthy mommies parent emotionally and spiritually healthy babies. Through the Embrace Grace programs, lives are saved and generations are being changed. God loves these babies and their mommies, and we do too.
