Overview: Partner with parents in making disciples of children birth through 6th grade, providing excellent ministry environments for teaching children to know and love God, and equipping parents to disciple their children in the home.
Hours: 25-29 hours (negotiable)

Purpose:
• To provide a robust disciplemaking children’s ministry on Sunday mornings
• To encourage and assist parents in the discipling of their children
• To facilitate the recruiting, training, and nurturing of a volunteer team
• To participate in Trinity’s efforts to focus outward, on our neighbors and our community, in ways appropriate to children’s ministry
• To contribute to Trinity’s church-wide efforts as a fully-functioning member of Trinity staff
Qualifications:
• Passionate about children and their spiritual development
• Broad, meaningful experience in children’s ministry (volunteer and/or vocational)
• Creative and innovative
• Strong people and team-building skills
• Able to affirm Trinity’s doctrinal statement
• Passionate about excellent, relevant biblical teaching
• Strong command of the Bible and core theology
• Literate in essentials of childhood education (developmental phases, teaching methods, etc.)
Responsible To: The Director of Children’s Ministry is responsible to the Senior Pastor.
