We are seeking a Digital Strategist/Copywriter who is passionate about leveraging digital marketing advertising and fundraising for America’s largest non-profit legal organization solely dedicated to protecting and defending religious freedom.

As a key member of our growing digital marketing team, you will help communicate the “voice and vision” of the brand via digital marketing and fundraising campaigns initiatives that will inspire supporters to take action. Above all, you’re a great storyteller, a pro with your prose, who knows how to communicate across a variety of marketing and media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute and implement the core marketing strategies for specific legal cases and marketing/fundraising campaigns
  • Be “the voice of the campaign/brand” by writing and developing key narratives that directly speak to and engage supporters through a variety of channels, including: monthly email fundraising appeals, case videos, website landing page and donation page copy, digital ads and various print and event collateral materials
  • Have the ability to craft compelling, personal prose that speak to the heart of the donor and compel and inspire them to take action
  • Collaborate with integrated marketing team members to ensure campaigns are
    multi-channel, including social media, email marketing and livestreaming/production teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous copywriter experience in the non-profit/fundraising space
  • Clear strategic understanding of what motivates donors to action and how to confidently communicate those messages through multi-media channels and executions
  • Ability to showcase experience and success in previous social, advertising, email, website, and texting campaigns
  • Positive, collaborative, inclusive, and flexible team member
  • Resourceful and organized self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting online A/B experiments
  • Experience in online tracking tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • BS in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience required
