- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions
- Fluency in Spanish required
- An exceptional writer with proficient verbal communications skills.
- Able to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and work well under tight deadlines.
- Able to demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Capable of exhibiting a sense of urgency – with specific regard to monitoring, prioritizing, and responding in near real-time.
- Able to think creatively and strategically in all social media promotions.
- Prompt and can maintain satisfactory attendance, including timeliness.
- A life-long learner who keeps up with the latest trends and innovations in social media.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience with generating ideas and working under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service and support skills (required).
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects and InDesign software applications.
- A degree in marketing, public relations, or related field (preferred).
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong Spanish spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Portfolio of work available.
