SUMMARY:

This flexible part time (16 hours per week) Administrative Assistant (AA.) is charged with supporting the Marketplace Ministries Founder & Ministry Ambassador and his personal duties related to Marketplace Ministries. The Administrative Assistant utilizes spiritual gifts and talents as an administrative assistant and servant leader. The Administrative Assistant fully embraces the mission of Marketplace to share God’s love in the workplace by providing an employee care service through Chaplain Teams. The Administrative Assistant is able to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Ministry Founder.

Qualifications for this position:

  1. This position is ministerial in nature as the person fulfilling this role will be:
    • Representing Christ as a visible witness to the beliefs embodied by Marketplace, as outlined in Marketplace Chaplains’ Articles of Faith, Standards of Conduct and the Employee Handbook, which are incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth
    • Interacting with other staff members, new hires, and the community in a manner that exhibits Christ-character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines, with faith in
  2. Has a fundamental understanding of the Holy Bible and its proper application and has education or training in seminary or Bible
  3. Attests to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and actively participates in a biblically based
  4. Agreement and adherence to all Marketplace Chaplains’ Articles of Faith, Mission Statement, and Standards of Conduct, which outline beliefs and conduct that are required to perpetuate and exhibit the stated
  5. A commitment to, and demonstration of, Christian living, philosophy of life, and belief in Christ and his teachings, in accordance with Marketplace Chaplains’ Articles of Faith and Standards of Conduct and to be publicly and privately supportive of the Christian Faith.

Requirements:

  1. High attention to detail and organization
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and in CRM and Power BI.
  3. Ability to work well independently and assume new duties on an as-needed basis to support the stated

Our National Care Center or main headquarters is located at The Hope Center in Plano and we have a few full-time positions open locally.  In addition, we also have part-time chaplain opportunities locally and all over the US.    We look for people who love God and want to love and serve others.  Our chaplain opportunities  are very minimal hours but require some flexibility in schedules and a minimum of two year commitment to which we provide all the trained needed.
