Accountant Job Summary:
Accountant will be responsible for handling day to day operations, preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, and preparation of various financial statements.
Position Duties:
· Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs;
· Manage accounts payables activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments, includes managing Concur Invoicing process;
· Manage cash receipting process to ensure proper and accurate deposits, includes keying in cash receipts entries into accounting system;
· Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files;
· Manage Concur process and review Credit Card reconciliations from card users;
· Assist with month-end closing process;
· Perform various account reconciliations;
· Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information;
· Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data;
· Assist in preparing financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments;
· Support other Depts. in developing and maintaining budgets;
· Assist in implementing accounting procedures and internal controls;
· Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential;
· Assist with any additional or special projects, tasks or duties beyond what is outlined here that may be assigned as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
· 3+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
· Proficient in Excel and Word
· Quickbook experience a plus
· Experience with non-profits a plus
· Desire to learn and take on various types of responsibilities
· A self-motivator, eager to learn and grow, a fast learner
· Strong organizational and analytical skills
· Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
· A team player, must be able to work with people within and outside of the finance department
· Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Willing to work overtime when necessary

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
